"Learning Center"

Local artist Steven Falk made this painting – appropriately titled “Learning Center” – to be auctioned for the benefit of the LLLC. At 4’ high by 4’ across, it is large and will make a bold, colorful statement above a fireplace, at the end of a hall, or in any room. The painting is currently displayed in the Library near the Seaborg Garden, and will stay there until November 3rd. Steven Falk’s other works have shown in Boston, New York, Los Angeles, Palm Springs, and all over the Bay Area. Last summer, Whitney Museum Curator Chrissie Iles awarded Falk Second Prize at the Viridian Artists Gallery International Juried Exhibition in New York City and, in 2011, Falk was the Featured Artist on the US Department of State’s Art in Embassies web portal. His paintings are displayed in private collections in the East Bay, San Francisco, Capitola, New York City, Boston, Maui, Denver, and Austin.
