Distinguished Speaker Series

The Distinguished Speaker Series (DSS) draws nationally recognized bestselling authors and notable guests to the community for lively discussions. Launched in 2011, the first DSS speaker was Louis Zamperini, World War II prisoner of war survivor, Olympic runner and the subject of Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand.  DSS has also welcomed David Sedaris, Joyce Maynard, Rick Steves, Kelly Corrigan and Anthony Marra among others.

DSS is made possible in part by the generous support of our annual subscribers.
