A visionary construct of education, collaboration and community, the Lafayette Library and Learning Center (LLLC), home of the Glenn Seaborg Learning Consortium, is a place where all generations can gather for enriched intellectual and cultural experiences.

Located in the heart of Lafayette, at the corner of Mt. Diablo Boulevard and First Street, the LLLC is ADA-compliant and offers on-site parking, convenient access by public transportation, and is within walking distance of several schools, senior housing, BART and many of the community's neighborhoods. The facility exceeds 30,000 square feet, with a separate Children’s Area, Technology Lab and more.

Lafayette Library and Learning Center is the largest and most complex public/private project in Lafayette’s history. More than 10 years in the making, with $12.5M raised by private funds, $11.9M from a state grant, and the rest by public funds, the LLLC represents a community-driven effort to build a regional resource and national model Sweet Thursdayfor the library of the future.
