Sweet ThursdayLafayette Library and Learning Center Foundation

"Whatever the expense of improving education, it is an investment in the future we must make. Excellence costs. But in the long run, mediocrity costs more."       Dr. Glenn Seaborg

It was a bold idea to build a library that was the first of its kind in the country.

Glenn SeaborgTo include visionary partners like public schools, museums, universities, a health care organization, a national arts and culture forum, environmental groups and others, and then invite everybody in town to be part of the planning process.

Now, what takes place inside is what counts as we share experiences and ideas. Because after all, a building can be stunning and innovative, but it takes the ingenuity, passion and investment of people to bring it ALIVE.

The Lafayette Library and Learning Center Foundation (LLLCF) is a California 501(c)(3) nonprofit, public benefit corporation created for the principal purpose of establishing and supporting the vision that brought the LLLC to life.

Located on the Mezzanine level of the Library and Learning Center, you can access the LLLCF through Parking Garage Level 2, Suite 214.
