Sweet ThursdayLiving Media Wall

Located just inside the entrance to the Main Library, the Lafayette Library and Learning Center's Living Media Wall (LMW) is a thing of beauty . . . and information . . . and whatever else its sophisticated display technology will capture in the years to come in order to further engage a regional community of all ages in the learning experiences provided at the LLLC by Bay Area cultural, science and educational organizations.

Constructed of four 50" screens tiled together in a matrix to form a single 100" super-high definition visual unit, the LMW is run by a versatile content server capable of playing videos, slideshows, apps, and websites, and automatically accesses the library’s event calendar and other databases for up-to-the-minute information

Living Media WallStill in its development, the goal for the LMW is to intrigue, educate and inform, and also to present curated digital content increasingly available from international resources in art and science. If you are interested in learning more, please go to GlobalVicinity.

The Lafayette Library and Learning Center Foundation is currently seeking Sponsorships to support the Living Media Wall and its innovative programming outreach.
