Introduction |
Located just inside the entrance to the Main Library, the Lafayette Library and Learning Center's Living Media Wall (LMW) is a thing of beauty . . . and information . . . and whatever else its sophisticated display technology will capture in the years to come in order to further engage a regional community of all ages in the learning experiences provided at the LLLC by Bay Area cultural, science and educational organizations. Constructed of four 50" screens tiled together in a matrix to form a single 100" super-high definition visual unit, the LMW is run by a versatile content server capable of playing videos, slideshows, apps, and websites, and automatically accesses the library’s event calendar and other databases for up-to-the-minute information
The Lafayette Library and Learning Center Foundation is currently seeking Sponsorships to support the Living Media Wall and its innovative programming outreach. |
