The Lafayette Library and Learning Center, home of the Glenn Seaborg Learning Consortium, is located at 3491 Mt. Diablo Boulevard in the center of Lafayette, California, on the corner of Mt. Diablo Boulevard and First Street and just off the Central Lafayette exit of Highway 24. Click here for a map of the area.

Sweet ThursdayConveniently accessed by public transportation like County Connection and BART, we are handicap accessible on all levels. There is on-site and street parking. Sidewalks and multi-use bike lanes easily connect the LLLC to Lafayette’s many excellent restaurants, shops and public spaces, including the Lafayette Reservoir. The 12 Founding Partners of the Glenn Seaborg Learning Consortium offer a wide variety of programs, demonstrations and exhibits for seniors, families and children. Most activities take place onsite in the evenings and select afternoons, however on occasion, a Consortium event may be held at the nearby Veterans Memorial building.

The Lafayette Library offers ongoing book clubs, chess clubs and storytelling hours, as well as special events each month. Click Calendar for information on Library and Consortium programs, including registration.
